Opened in 2005, the Paul Klee Zentrum in Bern is a wonderful homage to the genius of Paul Klee, one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th Century.
Designed by the world-famous Italian architect Renzo Piano, the cultural centre collects about 40 per cent of the Swiss artist paintings throughout his long artistic career. The building in itself is an architectural masterpiece, with its ‘hilly shape’ reminding the alps characterizing the background of the Swiss capital Bern.
