Along the way leading from super touristic Fortaleza leads to Jericoacoara, the landscape soon becomes wild.

Long, untamed beaches where the fishing boats are lying, small fisherman villages where one can breathe the real Brazil, with its simple and welcoming people. Cearà and Maranhão are two fascinating states in Northern Brazil, off from the usual itineraries and therefore all the more interesting.
