Piazza del Comune (or the City Hall Square) is the heart of the Assisi, surrounded by beautiful medieval buildings.
Assisi is one of the many gems in the Region of Umbria and one could spend hours admiring every single particular, like this old lamp decorating one of the historical facades. Often, there’s so much beauty in the details, isn’t there?

Assisi has some lovely wrought iron work around town…so pleased to see it get its due!
Ohhh, photos of lamps like these are my travel photography obsession too! Gorgeous!

so gothic!
So beautiful! Everything in Italy seems to be handcrafted and carefully placed… even as the streets seem so chaotic.
