Walking in the Natural Reserve of El Torcal de Antequera is like wandering through an open-air museum. The limestone rocks, eroded by the wind, look like sculptures. Only they have not been created by an artist, but shaped through million years by water and ice.

We biked up to this park under a threat of a thunderstorm. I was bitching away – why are we bothering – and then – what a delight. I am so glad we went – and your photo under blue skies gives a totally different feeling. I think it’s a must do trip in Andalusia.

WoW! That must have been a tough bike ride, Leigh. If I remember well, the road is getting up to El Torcal is quite steep. So glad you liked the place. Definitely an overlooked area of Andalusia.
