Lucerne, the Picture-Perfect City

Lucerne Postcard

It’s hard to visit Lucerne, one of the most touristic attractions in Switzerland, without thinking of it as the perfect postcard city.

Old painted houses, the view on the lake and the mountains backdrop, the ancient Water Tower and the famous wooden bridge crossing the Reuss river. Everything is so charming, idyllic and perfect that sometimes I was wondering if it was true.

Enjoy my postcard from picture-perfect Lucerne!

  1. Simon, it is beautiful and yes it does look to good to be true. Then again the Chapel bridge is too good to be true. The section shown in this photo caught fire in 1993 and was rebuilt.
