Santorini Rooftops

Santorini Rooftops

Perched atop a high and steep cliff, overlooking the deep blue Mediterranean, Fira is the main city of Santorini, likely the most famous Greek island. Walking along the narrow streets, I often stopped to enjoy the view of the rooftops of the typical whitewashed houses outlined against a beautiful backdrop.

There’s a very peculiar charm in Greece that words can hardly describe.

I loved Santorini! It was my favorite Greek isle we visited on our cruise last week. We didn’t get to spend much time in Fira, but we really enjoyed Oia. Everywhere you looked was another postcard perfect photo op!
