Lubanzi is a small village along South Africa Wild Coast, immersed in a breathtaking scenery made of smooth green hills, round huts and deserted beaches. Kids on the beach play, run, bath and after a while, they slowly approach.
There aren’t many visitors in this remote area, thus the children look at us with a mix of curiosity and shyness. Then, after a few minutes, they start speaking the few words of English they have learned and ask for sweets, probably the greatest treat. I admire their beautiful faces and graceful movements, I wonder what they think, how they imagine our lives, what they dream. Most of all, I can’t help asking myself what their future will be. And I know that I am unable to give myself an answer.

I bet the coast of South Africa is breathtaking. You wouldn’t catch me swimming in the water though.
Great photo!
I0m like you, Christy. Lots of walking but no way to take a swim! Too afraid by a possible encounter with sharks
The children’s thoughts speak through this pic strongly. The sky and landscape is magnificent.
What a lovely shot!
