Valentine’s? Who celebrates Valentine’s anyway? 2013 is all about Singles Appreciation Day. Forget the flowers and jewellery, February 15 is all about getting the girls together and enjoying some quality cocktail time. Whoever said mates before dates was definitely onto something, and seeing as though Singles Appreciation Day falls on a Friday this year, you might as well make a weekend of it.

February isn’t the best of times to get away, granted. Everyone is still feeling the pinch after the festive season, but that doesn’t have to mean missing out on one the nation’s most important dates in the calendar.
Rather than blowing your budget on luxury accommodation, look into hotels in Bristol from Travelodge. Located at the heart of the city, you are right on the doorstep of the shops, bars and restaurants and close to all transport links – what more could you want?

Let’s be honest, Singles Appreciation Day is all about keeping things real, and so if you do want to downplay it, Nando’s should definitely be on the cards.
After a night on the tiles, and probably a few too many Apple Martinis, Cosmos, Bellinis… etc. you are all likely to benefit from a relaxing spa session. Why not, you deserve it. Treat yourself.
