Durban Moses Mabhida Stadium: Awesome Piece of Architecture

Durban Moses Mabhida Stadium

When I first looked at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium from the top, I could hardly believe my own eyes. Never would I have expected the venue to be so huge and such a beautiful piece of architecture.

Since I am not a football fan, I’m not familiar with stadiums and visiting one as part of a trip never came to my mind. I happened to go to the Moses Mahbida Stadium in Durban since for the INDABA Travel Bloggers conference, taking place at the stadium  which, I found out, is also an awesome venue to host events.

Its steel and glass structure, the arch and the effect of light are impressive and the overall visual impact is stunning. I’m not brave enough but the adrenaline seekers can experience the Big Swing, first jumping in the void and then swinging under the arch. Not for me, thanks 🙂 I prefer to admire Moses Mabhida Stadium awesome architectural structure.
